Hello and Welcome. Thank you for visiting my site :)
My passion for photography goes hand in hand with practicing mindfulness and meditation. In a sense, the beauty that I am surrounded with every day, and my appreciation of it, is magnified by this amazing tool. Living in Tumbler Ridge you don't have to look too far to find rare rock formations, dinosaur tracks, mountain top hikes and an abundance of waterfalls. Many of these are just a short distance from my doorstep. Not to mention that we have been a UNESCO Global Geopark since 2014. Very exciting times for our little town.
In my summer months I head up the Alaska Highway, through the Stone Mountain and Muncho Lake Provincial Parks to the B.C./ Yukon border then veer off west to my destination of Telegraph Creek where my dad was born, in the Tahltan Territory. My adventures in the farther reaches of Northern B.C. take me to remote areas all along the journey the Chinook and sockeye salmon make up the Stikine and Tahltan rivers, from the B.C./ Alaska border to Tahltan Lake. This area is rugged and unforgiving, but with a rare and timeless beauty unlike anywhere else I've ever witnessed.
I have been very fortunate to experience and live along side wildlife in it's natural environment in these remote areas, and it is my pleasure to be able to share my photos and stories with you all, as they happen and provide the opportunity to own a piece of my story knowing exactly how it came to be. Once again, thank you and I hope you enjoy the adventure :)
